Cell phone most likely tech tool found in traveller’s bag
Saturday 12 August 2006 by Edward.
A recent TIA, Travel Industry Association of America, survey of 1,500 Americans found that the following tech tools were preferred to be taken on leisure trips.
1 Cell phone (86%)
2 Digital camera (67%)
3 Laptop (24%)
4 CD player (21%)
5 Portable DVD player (15%)
6 iPod/MP3 player (11%)
About one in six search the web while on vacation to find out things to see/do, and also use the web to find accomodations that have high-speed internet service. The reports predicts growth in iPod/MP3 player popularity with increased podcasting from tourist-related sites.
