Schmap!!

Scientific Tourist experience.

Now this is different. Post the orbit schedule of the International Space Station (ISS) over your destination. Maybe hold a ’star’ party and have telescopes available for your visitors.

Track the space station. Go to NASA’s SYWATCH and select your location or enter your destination’s coordinates. I used my location in Canada, for Saturday 8th July, 2006, observing for 6 hours starting 10pm. Of the 320 satellites processed, 10 sitings were tabled. Give yourself about 15-20 minutes of computer time for NASA to send this information. The table gives you each satellites name and its expected time, duration and path overhead.
