Bookstore Tourism Blog
Have you ever considered independent bookstores as a group travel niche? Larry Portzline of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has. He is the creator of the grassroots “Bookstore Tourism” movement and is busily preparing a paper on this subject, including stats, market research, audience, direction, potential, etc.
Through his Blog, “The Bookstore Tourism Blog“, and his website, www.BookstoreTourism.com, he is using the internet to build a unique tourism community — one that shares the love of books, and one that supports cultural and heritage tourism.
I would not be surprised to see the bookstores from his Indie Bookstore Link soon connected to Google Earth. Just for good measure here is a link to independent booksellers in Canada.
Do you have a niche tourism market that could benefit from a Blog and website? Let me know about it.
